Participation in the Committee meeting of Global Agritourism Network
On November 21, 2024, INOS proudly participated in the Committee meeting as an active and contributing member. The meeting, which focused on “Sharing Good Practices,” provided a platform to explore innovative approaches to agritourism, particularly in the Albanian context.
The session highlighted Theme-based Agritourism through the lens of three outstanding cases presented by prominent agripreneurs:
1. Elona Bejo from Ferma Albanik – Presented on “Wellness Agritourism,” showcasing how wellness practices can integrate with sustainable tourism.
2. Marjana Koçeku from NeoMalsore Agritourism – Discussed “Old Lifestyle Agritourism” and emphasized preserving the rich traditions of highland Albania.
3. Johana Bano from Fustanella Agritourism – Highlighted “Autochthonous Seeds and Ethno-Cooking,” focusing on the importance of biodiversity and culinary heritage.
The meeting facilitated interactive discussions, allowing participants to engage directly with the speakers and explore the practical implementation of these innovative agritourism models.
As a dedicated member of the Committee, INOS actively participated in the discussions, contributing insights on the importance of sustainable practices and the integration of cultural heritage in agritourism. This aligns with INOS’s mission to promote innovation and collaboration in fostering sustainable development.
