“Youth Creative Camp: Voices of Pelagonia”

The project “Youth Creative Camp: Voices of Pelagonia” is aimed at empowering young people from the Pelagonia region and actively engaging them in social, cultural, and civic life through creative and digital media. The project is implemented over a period of six months and seeks to provide space and tools for young people aged 15–29, especially those from marginalized groups, to share their stories, ideas, and perspectives.

Although Pelagonia is a region rich in cultural heritage and potential, many young people face limited opportunities for participation, low visibility, and a feeling that their voices are not being heard. Through this project, creative media become a tool for change—supporting the development of self-confidence, digital skills, and active youth participation.

Within the framework of the project, a two-day creative camp will be organized, where participants will receive training in:
• digital storytelling (text, photography, video),
• podcasting and audio production,
• youth journalism and civic engagement,
• communication and social media campaigns.

After the camp, young people will continue creating and publishing content on a new online platform – a youth digital magazine. Over a period of four months, at least 30 youth-created stories, podcasts, and multimedia contents will be published, reflecting the real challenges and potential of young people in the region.

Expected Results

• 15 young people trained in media and digital skills
• Increased visibility of young people and marginalized groups
• A functional youth digital magazine
• Improved cooperation and connectivity between youth, institutions, and media
• Encouragement of an active youth voice in Pelagonia

“Voices of Pelagonia” is not just a project, but a platform that will continue to exist even after the project ends. The trained young people will use the acquired skills further in education, employment, or activism, while the magazine will remain an open space for youth expression and dialogue. Through this project, INOS once again confirms its mission: to create opportunities, connect young people, and strengthen their voices where they are needed most.
