Moto Cross

Motocross is a dynamic and high-adrenaline motorsport practiced on specially designed off-road tracks featuring natural terrain, artificial obstacles, jumps, and sharp turns. The sport demands exceptional physical fitness, advanced riding technique, quick reflexes, and strong mental focus from its riders.

As a competitive discipline, motocross combines speed, endurance, and technical precision, while offering an exciting and visually engaging experience for spectators. It has a strong sporting culture and plays an important role in national and international motorsport competitions, contributing to youth engagement, athlete development, and the promotion of active sports tourism.

The Center for Innovation and Development INOS was the initiator and driving force behind the development of motocross infrastructure in the Pelagonia region. In 2013, INOS initiated and fully constructed the Lagovo Motocross Arena, located in the village of Lagovo, which has since grown into one of the most recognized motocross tracks in the country.

The track has been continuously improved over the years, and between 2013 and 2023 it hosted numerous national and international motocross races, including events within the National Motocross Championship and East European Championships. The competitions were organized under the name Lagovo Storm Riders and played a significant role in the development of motocross, local community engagement, and sports infrastructure.

Through this initiative, INOS demonstrated how strategic vision, long-term commitment, and investment in sports infrastructure can create lasting value, inspire young riders, and position North Macedonia on the regional motocross map. We organised races from 2013 until 2023, it means 11 years. The first year we organised Prilep Open 2013. The next year it was a part of the National Motocross Championship in all categories MX1, MX2, MX3, MX75. We organised two East European Chapionship.
